Salanoa is located at “ El Born” ( the former city market-place ) in one of the classic old quarters of Barcelona and of particular interest for its rich heritage of Gothic and Modernist architecture ( the church of Santa Maria del Mar, the “l´Hivernacle” ... ).

An atmospphere of artistic creativity pervades these narrow streets, at one time the haunt of famous artists such as Picasso, Miro, Manolo Hugue ... The area is nowadays a lively city centre both during the day and at night, offering a wide variety of cultural ( the Picasso museum), leisure and gastronomic possibilities.
